When Lewis Carroll was photographing Alice Liddell, the little girl who inspired the famous novel Alice in Wonderland! Alice Liddell, the daughter of a couple of friends of Lewis Carroll, who inspired the novelist to write his masterpiece. During the 1850s, Lewis Carroll used the wet plate collodion process to photograph the girl, described as mischievous, curious and dreamy by the writer. The little Alice Liddell became a few years later his main inspiration for the writing of the novel Alice in Wonderland.
