This group of Berlin street artists was getting tired of seeing swastika graffiti around their city. How did this group of artists respond? They fought back with love and humor. The movement is called #PaintBack and involves transforming hateful Nazi symbols into something funny or beautiful. The project was started by street artist Ibo Omari of Die kulturellen Erben e.V.. He considers them to be neighborhood activists, so doing something about the swastika graffiti was only natural.
