The series entitled Day by Day focuses on themes like living alone to spending time with his grandmother to an ancient vending machine selling udon noodles in Akita, Japan. The illustrations have a sweet, innocent quality to them layered with meaning and nostalgia.

Born in 1983 Emanuele Colombo grew up in a little town in the middle of nowhere in surrounded by the Italian Alps, spending time building spaceships with Legos and dreaming of becoming a paleontologist. He likes the Beatles, science fiction b-movies and dinosaurs. In case you decide to work with him, be warned: it’s highly probable you’ll find some reference to the above mentioned somewhere in the work.
He’s currently working as Animation Supervisor at Antimatter, the animation studio He has founded.

Stina Löfgren Illustrates An Aid Kit For Those Experiencing Sorrow

Earlier this year a survey in Sweden showed that the time people most needed support at work was when they were experiencing sorrow, going through a divorce or the loss of a relative. To reassure individuals going through this experience, The Church of Sweden has provided 2,000 companies with a First Aid Kit for Sorrow, a pack of illustrated tips, drawn by Swedish illustrator Stina Löfgren, created in time for All Saints Day 2017.
