THE PERVERSE AND THE INNOCENT COLORORGY’S POP ART PIECES

The Perverse And The Innocent Colororgy'S Pop Art Pieces

The perverse and the innocent meet to form a twisted narrative in ColorOrgy’s pop art pieces. Based in Phoenix, Arizona – the illustrator and painter blends the aesthetics of traditional values with provocative imagery to deconstruct the American dream.Finding inspiration from mid-20th century pulp fiction and comic books – Scott’s graphic images mix vibrant hues with equal parts of dark humor, to explore the sinister side of childhood, romance and gender roles in a changing society.

ColorOrgy is the working name of Phoenix, AZ painter and illustrator Scott Wolf. Born and raised in Phoenix, he’s exhibited extensively, collected internationally and recently won a Phoenix New Times “Best of Phoenix” award as well as being named one of Phoenix’s “Top 100 Creatives”.
